Neighborhood Watch -An opportunity to serve!

In the past, Kapoho Beach Lots has had an active Neighborhood Watch (NW) program in effect to help address issues of safety within our community.  Joint meetings have been held with the Neighborhood Watch of Vacationland and meeting notices were posted to the Online Forum and on the bulletin boards outside the gate.   All residents, renters, guests, property caretakers, and rental property managers were welcome to attend the meetings and participate as volunteers with our NW program.

Our NW is currently inactive due to lack of volunteers.  If you would like to get involved in helping restart this program in coordination with Hawaii County Civil Defense and independent of the KBCA Board of Directors, please contact Tricia Morlock at 965 7510 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. Although we would all like to think that nothing bad could happen within our little slice of paradise, the truth is bad things do happen.  Dogs may bark incessantly, construction may begin too early, parties may be too loud, unlocked cars may be rummaged through, and homes may be entered, even the occasional physical altercation can happen within our community.  Common sense should prevail when dealing with incidents that disrupt the community, and we are looking for a volunteer to restart this service to help when something comes up.

In the meantime, call on another neighbor or the Police Non-Emergency number 808-935-3311 for assistance.  Our community is best served by looking after each other!
